Our Boutiques

[su_tabs] [su_tab title=”Mold”]

Rock Bottom Mold – North Wales

The Mold boutique is also our head office – originally located in a former cake shop (Gerards for the locals) situated in Earl Road in 1988 and then moved to its present site in Mold High Street in 1998. Access to Mold town center is very easy and there is ample parking available in two locations within 1 minute walking time of our store. The parking is run by Flintshire council so charges are relatively low. We have changing room facilities and our staff are known for their friendly and relaxed approach to our customers. Mold is a vibrant market town and market days are Wednesday and Saturday.

In 2010 we refitted the store and the improvements made have had very positive comments from our customers. The store was re-opened by a `Marylyn Monroe` which made headlines in the local press and helped link our theme to the celebrity following that Rock Bottom enjoys.

Included amongst our most famous customers were Sir Lawrence Olivier`s family including his wife Joan Plowright who were frequent customers when playing at Theatre Clwyd in Mold.

One online reviewer recently commented “… you won’t see alot of people wearing the same items of clothes as you. Very clean and always good services received here.”

Rock Bottom Chester – England

The Chester boutique is our newest. Opened in 1998 in the Ancient Roman City it is situated on the ground floor beneath the famous medieval `Rows`. The historical city centre has two multi-story car parks both within 2 minutes walk from our store and there are two park and ride facilities outside of the city centre. We have changing room facilities and our staff are known for their friendly and relaxed approach to our customers.

Chester has in more recent times, become known for its location setting used within Channel 4`s `Hollyoaks` TV programme. The Rock Bottom store has frequently featured in scenes for the show and the wardrobe department has bought and used some of our fashions for use within the programme.

We have been profiled in `Closer`magazine as part of an article titled “The Hollyoaks Trail” and described as “a hidden gem within Chester, great for affordable fashion.”

[su_tab title=”Shrewsbury”]

Rock Bottom Shrewsbury – Shropshire

One of our newest stores, Shrewsbury is a market town whose center has a largely unaltered medieval street plan and over 660 listed buildings including several examples of timber framing from the 15th and 16th centuries. Shrewsbury Castle, a red sandstone fortification and Shrewsbury Abbey, a former Benedictine monastery, were founded in 1074 and 1083 respectively by the Norman Earl of Shrewsbury, Roger de Montgomery. The town has historically been a center for the wool trade and brewing. Horticulture remains popular, and the Shrewsbury Flower Show is one of the largest horticultural events in England.
